Analysis of electro-spark cutting and digging machines from firm name Emotek s.r.o. and their enforcement on EU market
Svoboda, Jiří ; Zemčík, Oskar (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The aim of this work is to make the reader closer to the principle and usage of an uconventional technology of shaping metal materials - electro discharge machining. The first part of the work contents historical dates, an explanation of the principle and the technological insertion. In the second part I concentrate on the range of products of the Slovakian company Emotek, to be specific, on their spark cutting machine EIR 005. I sample the description of the machine and its technical - economic comparison with the competitive electro - spark machines. The whole work is primarily concentrated on the electro - spark cutting machines. The digging machines are mentioned only marginally. Lastly, the work should persuade the readers of indisputable advantages of this technology and its utilization. Furthemore to introduce Emotek as a company competing with other external producers as well as with merchants and to point out the further possible progress of the company and its activity in the electro - discharge machining branch.
The rationalization of technological process of electrical discharge sinking
Maršálek, Jaroslav ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
The aim of my work is the rationalization of an elektroerosive process of sinking during the production of a die in a given firm on a sinking machine Agie Hyperspark 3HS. This machine was compared with an existing device in Kovolit Modřice, a publicly held company. And subsequently it was tried several variations of setting. Afterwards it was chosen the most optimal setting for consecutive production of concrete die.
Material of electrodes for electrical discharge machining
Experimental electroerosion machining of special materials for aerospace industry
Líkař, Martin ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the issues of electroerosive machining material used in aerospace industry. The master´s thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is described electroerosive machining with a focus on electrical discharge sinking. One section of the theoretical part is an analysis of materials used in the aerospace industry. The practical part of the master´s thesis is focused on electrical discharge sinking of aerospace material INCO 713LC, here is investigated the influence of machining parameters on the surface of the workpiece and tool.
Unconventional machining processes
Exnerová, Jitka ; Mouralová, Kateřina (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the methods of the unconventional machining. The first part outlines the history of the machining methods, their characteristic and use follows. The second part aims at the method of the water jet, its technology, safety use, its advantages and disadvantages. Subsequently the thesis presents selected companies dealing with water jet cutting technology. At the end the thesis presents the environmental impact of the water jet cutting.
Analysis of Influence of Manufacturing Technology on Utility Properties of a Reducing Valve Part
Novotný, Michal ; Sigmund, Marian (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The present work is focused on the comparison of the currently used technology for the production of reducing resistors, i.e. electroerosive machining in combination with soldering on one side and the use of a suitable additive technology on the other hand. In addition to the purely technological aspects, such as the individual production processes or their preparation, economic aspects are also compared, supplemented by an assessment of the delivery times of the finished parts. The analysis is carried out The environmental impact of both production approaches is also analysed. The individual comparisons form the basis for to assess whether the replacement of the conventional manufacturing approach by additive manufacturing is advantageous in this case. The results of this assessment can then be used for future applications of the considered additive manufacturing approaches for similar components.
Technology of production part
Straka, Jiří ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This diploma thesis is developed within my Master’s degree studies, branch mechanical engineering (M21 K), and specialization in M STM. The aim of this thesis is to solve the technology of mechanical production (machining, tooling) for the machine component called ‚shape lid‘. I execute the analysis of this technology from the perspective of the conventional machining process, and alternatively, some of the non conventional machining process, too. Conventional machining process is so far used for manufacturing of this sort of machine’s element. It‘s implying laborious work difficulties, even it’s economically disadvantageous. I suggest a new technology of manufacturing. At first, a semi-finished component could be sized by conventional machining process, and then it could be finished by the CNC (computer numerical control) milling machine. By the non-conventional machining process assume the usage of an electro-erosive machining, plasma machining, or water jet machining.Conventional technology suppose the usage of CNC milling machines. Thereinafter, feasibility aspects of this brand new technology are considered in technical and economical perspective.
Trend development of electrodischarge sinking machines
Čumpl, David ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
In this work, a principle of Electro Discharge Sinking Technology is described as well as comparison of individual machine producers. Further, description of an electrode production technology is included together with a recommendation of a machine to a middle mechanical engineering company. Last part is dedicate technical and economical analysis on concrete types of machines and adumbration another trends of development.
Optimization of EDM process control parameters
Prokeš, Tomáš ; Beneš, Libor (referee) ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
The dissertation thesis is focused on the optimization of control parameters of an EDM machine; the subject of optimization is cutting speed and surface topography. The first part of the thesis contains a research study on the technology of electrical discharge machining with the attention paid to the optimization methods use for control parameters of this process. The second part of the thesis is focused on real application of knowledge gained from studied sources. Here, a design of experiment aim at optimizing the parameters of the EDM machine is designed and carried on to maximize the cutting speed with the highest possible surface quallity. The result of the work is to build adequate regression models and find the optimal setting of machine control parameters.
